We are now setting workshops for the end of 2008 as well as 2009. We will be conducting several external custom straw bale workshops as well as 5 FIVE intensive hands on straw bale workshops in Ganmain during 2009*.

All our workshops unless otherwise stated will be using the latest HYBRID method of straw bale building technology.

*Subject to change as custom workshops become available. Sites confimed are so far in Orbost in Victoria and two for Inverell in Northern N.S.W. and we are also discussing custom workshops for the Hunter Valley in N.S.W. and Bathurst N.S.W. with our clients, all to be confirmed asap.

The building will be PART of a large straw bale HOUSE using the hybrid method combining load bearing and in-fill methods. You will learn state-of-the art straw bale building technology here with the latest rendering methods for straw bale walls.

So come and join us in Ganmain where you will visit and experience thirteen 13 straw bale buildings all nearly finished or completed now. You will witness most of the building methods that we promote on our web site.

Accommodation at the "Royal Hotel" is very reasonable and affordable. We always have great workshops in Golden Ganmain.

Ganmain is 60 kilometres West of Wagga Wagga near Coolamon in the heart of canola and Chaff country. Famous for the Hay Stacks.

We started conducting workshops back in 1996 and it does not seemlike we have reached our century the time has flown and we have learnt so much in that time. The technology keeps evolving and changing for the better. We have had well over 1,000 straw bale dreamers through our workshops and we look forward to the next century of workshops.

Due to circumstances well beyond our control we have to postpone the Inverell workshop. The dates will be anoounced as soon as possible. We expect the workshops will now be held in early 2009.

The building will be a pavilion style straw bale HOUSE using the hybrid method combining load bearing and in-fill methods for our clients in Inverell. Hence the two workshops to help construct the walls of two of the pavilions. As with all our workshops you will learn state-of-the art straw bale building technology here with the latest rendering methods for straw bale walls.So come and join us in Inverell for some fun and learning. Denny and Lee attended one of our Ganmain intensive workshops and this is their beautiful new straw bale home that they have built as a result of learning the technology in Ganmain. Denny said that they did 95% of the building themselves and have never built anything in their lives before attempting their own home.
